3K Carbon technology distinguishes this helmet from any other currently on the market. Our R&D Team has discovered that the carbon elastic module allows to reduce the density of the APS of 20%, without compromising its ability to absorb impacts. The result is a lighter and more performing cap, which requires a new standard in the construction of the most ventilated road helmets.

Originally developed by the Naca (later it became NASA), the characteristic design of the Naca wounder generates an active refreshing air flow. Thanks to the Venturi effect, the external air is channeled through the helmet and linearly expelled from the rear vents together with the heat accumulated inside. This constant air flow does not affect aerodynamic performance, maximizing performance and ventilation.

The back of the thirty 3k Carbon has a great impact on aerodynamics and on the recirculation of the air inside the helmet. The design is characterized by two large vents and an inclined deflector precisely 25 °, the optimal position to facilitate the passage of the air and offer maximum ventilation even on the hardest climbs.

All our road models are designed following specific aerodynamic criteria developed thanks and intensive tests in the wind gallery in the Newton laboratory in Milan. Met Trenta 3k Carbon has a lower profile in the rear, drawing a tail with a tubular shape that offers great aerodynamic benefits.

The internal fit of the Met Trenta 3k Carbon Mips is exceptionally comfortable and designed so that only 30% of the helmet is in contact with the head. This allows the remaining 70% to benefit from the air flow that is channeled through the internal cavities, keeping their heads cool at high and low speeds.

Two front sluts are designed to offer a safe location where to insert sunglasses, uphill or rest. A thin rubbery coating ensures the stability necessary to keep the glasses in place.
