Aeroweave

The search to reduce weight and increase ventilation while maintaining support and protection has led our designers and engineers to develop a completely new material: Aeroweave. Once in the second generation, the Aeroweave fabric intertwines nylon fibers with thermoplastic polymers filaments for an even lighter shoe that does not lose its original tenacity, providing the strength and support required in competition.

PowersTrap

While the more traditional velcro closures simply combine both sides of the shoe upper, in the power PowersTrap wind configuration, a ribbon envelops the foot, providing a safe containment using only two straps. The neck of the foot and the median part of the foot are adjustable separately for customized fit and compression and now these straps have been optimized to make them even lighter and more resistant.

R3 sole

Wind PowersTrap Aeroweave also presents a completely new sole, the R3, designed with an updated carbon fiber layup and a new design to save weight without compromising rigidity. With an index of 10, the R3 is a rigid sole that provides an optimal power transfer. Two large air intakes and a deep internal canalization allow an air flow of cooling, contributing to temperature management. In line with the latest bike assembly trends, the R3 sole offers a positioning of the built -in heual, the same as all the latest Fizik models, to optimize L’Efficiency of the pedaling and reduce knee compression, particularly suitable for aerodynamic positions on very aggressive forward.
