Behind the Overcurve R4 is hidden a cutting -edge constructive technique: a laminated surplus material in polyurethane is combined with a comfortable tissue, thus reducing the dissipation of energy and providing support to the foot for a long time and where necessary.

Overcurve
The closure of the shoe is fast, safe and reliable, and is equipped with a micro-regulable Boa ring in an overcurve pattern. Overcurve is a construction system characterized by a particular collar that bands the ankle by tracing the natural misalignment of the two Osee Prominations of the lateral and medial Maleoli. The result is an asymmetrical form, with the back of the shoe that bands the foot along its entire development.

EXTERNAL SOLE R4
The moderately rigid R4 sole is the perfect compromise between comfort and pedaling efficiency and for this reason it is the best "All-Round" Fizik shoe. An input air intake and an internal canalization system provide an air flow that helps breathability, for maximum thermal regulation. The positioning of the beat is slightly more backward than other models to optimize the best L'Pedal efficiency and reduce knee compression, improving especially in aggressive and aerodynamic possession.
